Tidbits of Recommendations: May 22, 2020

Welcome to the brand new Tidbit series, Tidbits of Recommendations! Every Friday, we will release a rundown of the things we’ve been obsessing over that week and what we think you should try. Keeping with The Tidbit’s theme of “entertainment, lifestyle, Chicago” we will have one recommendation for each category every week. Let’s dive in!

Entertainment

puf4Acup_400x400The past few weeks, we’ve been obsessing over Schnitt Talk – a podcast by Barstool Sports that’s geared towards women who are just beginning to navigate adulthood. Hosted by Ellie Schnitt and Alanna Vizzoni, the podcast offers insight into dating, careers, and a plethora of other fun topics.
This podcast is best for young women in their late teens to mid-twenties OR for anyone looking to understand women in their late teens to mid-twenties.

Lifestyle

pillowAs you may know, we’re always on the lookout for products that will help with Fibromyalgia and chronic pain. This week, it was out with the old and in with the comfortable for a new pillow and my neck has been thanking me every since. The Big One® Gel Memory Foam Side Sleeper Pillow has changed the way I sleep and was made with side sleepers in mind. Shout out to Kohl’s for helping with my neck woes.

Chicago

IMG_2531Since quarantine began, I haven’t been able to visit the city and have been living the suburban life. So, until this is over, we’ll have recommendations of things from the suburbs (or maybe something with a general Chicago-theme).

This week (and every other week) I’ve been all about The Nutrition Hub. I typically go to the location in Frankfort, but they have a few others including: Mokena, New Lenox, and Steger. I switched up my usual order this week and have been getting a Cinnamon Toast Crunch shake and it’s amazing.
